We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at store@hangonpuukko.fi with your order number and reason for return. We will provide instructions on how to proceed. Returns must be sent to: Kaljaasikatu 4, 10940 HANKO, Finland.
Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

European Union – 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Chapter 6 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (38/1978).
Your item must be in the same condition as received, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, so we can make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Opened or used products
- Custom-made or personalized items
- Perishable goods
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Sale items and gift cards
Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, we will refund the full purchase price — including original shipping costs — within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using your original payment method.
Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at store@hangonpuukko.fi.
Geographic Scope
This policy applies to sales within Finland and EU countries. We do not ship to or accept returns from Belarus or Russia.
